**New** Scheme for Doctors

August 2011: DMC has recently revised its package of pay and benefits for GPs to be the most competitive available.

Benefits

As part of an excellent package, we now offer paid CPD to every doctor equivalent to one whole session per week pro rata, as well as fully paid professional indemnity and a fully BMA-compliant contract. Where your rota includes anti-social hours cover, we pay an additional premium.

Every GP at DMC is entitled to participate in the NHS pension scheme.

Because we value experience, we will reward your seniority and length of service at DMC with three-yearly increments. That means that for every three years of core general practice completed, including your previous work, we will award a further spine point on the DMC GP salary scale.

What's more, you will share in the bonus scheme available for every doctor, worth up to 10% of basic salary, based on team performance at your site.

Salary

Our current sale is regularly benchmarked to keep it competitive and is currently between £67,598 - £105,245 per annum (based on up to 15 years experience and including benefits).
