Appointments

Our surgeries operate on an appointment-only basis so that you can have the choice over which clinician you see and when.

Booking an appointment is easy

If you are a registered patient, the easiest way to book an appointment is to phone the surgery or you can simply drop in to your local practice.

To suit patients with busy lifestyles, we offer a range of appointments with slots available in the early morning or early evening. If you require an emergency appointment, please ensure that you call your surgery as soon as you can.

It may be that you feel that you do not need to see a doctor, but instead need to see one of our other health care professionals. If so, please ask the receptionist, who will be only too happy to help.

Patients who visit A&E can sometimes be seen at one of our walk-in centres. Even if you aren't registered with us, our walk-in centres operate a triage system which ensures that you are seen quickly. However, if you are seriously injured, it is still best to go to hospital as we do not offer scanning facilities.

"Keep it or cancel it" – Remember, if you are unable to attend your appointment, please tell us so that we can offer it to someone else.
